A hop-filled IPA with a solid malt backbone. An aggressive, tropical NZ hopped aroma gives way to the rich, copper coloured malt base and a huge lingering bitterness to finish. In an ode to its ancestors, we’ve used all English malts in the grist and a bold English bittering hop in the boil.
SINGLE HOP PALE ALE Kiwis are notorious for developing an enthusiasm for local commodities only after a thumbs up from the more discerning parts of the world. In the case of Nelson Sauvin hops we think that’s a little unfair. Tuatara and Sauvin were released into the world at about the same time so we […]
American-style muscle gets backed up here with real kiwi horsepower. A long, aromatic list of hops like Centennial, Citra and Simcoe should lead you to expect a massive bitterness and sensory hop presence, and you wouldn’t be far off that expectation at all. One for the hop heads.
A classic Kiwi hop style of passionfruit and grapefruit – like a beer version of your New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Also, made with a hybrid of New Zealand and German malts.

Porter is the oldest commercially brewed style. Dark, dry and mellow with some hop characteristics, it was the favourite tipple of London’s porters. London Porter pours a deep brown colour with reddish tints, and the aroma is toasty, with a hint of sweetness and some earthy hop notes. Firm-bodied, but not heavy, with a creamy […]
Pure Canterbury water, dark roasted barley, NZ, English & American hops are brought together with passion to create this extra dark earth shattering stout.
Doctors once prescribed stout as a revitalising tonic, while brewers enhanced their potency with additional ingredients, like oysters, which had desirable properties of their own. The Three Boys Oyster Stout contains select malt and hops to produce a beer that is rich and complex. And, who knows, our addition of genuine Bluff oysters to this […]
Croucher PATRIOT is an American Black Ale. It is black in colour but without the dark flavours usually associated with black beers like Porters or Stouts. It is chock full of American Amarillo and Simcoe hops. Very hoppy on the nose, with a delicious fruity flavour, with guava and passionfruit present.
